Before I hit the hay, I created a little tracker for eliminating American General. The $4013 includes interest. By paying it off a year early, I will save about $1ooo. Yay!

BofA - "Red" - Joint This is our main checking account. This is the account we pay most of our bills from. My paycheck is direct deposited into this account.
BofA - "Green" - SOW (DH) This is where DH's paycheck is direct deposited. The funds are then transferred online to "Red".
BofA - "Yellow" - SOW (DH) Not currently using.
Chase - "Blue" - Joint This is our Escrow checking account. $85.00 a month is deposited into this account for annual bills; such as van tags and renters insuarance.
